Oscars

Every year, I look forward to watching the Oscars on television. The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, recognizes achievements in the film industry. This year, the Oscars took place on March 4th, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. It's always entertaining to see what the celebrities decide to wear on the red carpet and listen to their acceptance speeches. My sister and I enjoy making predications about who we think will win an Oscar award. Our predictions aren't always correct, but we still have fun making the predictions. For instance, this year we correctly predicted that the actress Allison Janney would win the award for best supporting actress. There's always a brief moment of suspense right before they announce the winner of the award. We're looking forward to watching the new films that will be released this year that might be worthy of an Oscar.
